To unify component requirements nationwide and enhance the quality of steel space frame products, the 'Technical Requirements for Spherical Nodes of Space Grid Structures' (GB/T 44534-2024), developed with participation from BAFANG Steel Structure, has been officially released.

This national standard builds upon the earlier 'End Plates, Conical Heads and Sleeves for Bolted Spherical Nodes in Steel Grid Structures' (T/CECS 10300-2023) compiled by the Space Structures Branch. The new standard will take effect on April 1, 2025.
